MPSSDEGB has been acting as the nodal agency for short-term Skill Development initiatives in the State of Madhya Pradesh. In order to ensure that the State is able to translate the large availability of working age population into a demographic advantage, the Board aims at raising the skilling quotient of the youth in the State by providing access to short-term demand-driven training courses in employable trades. Board intends to utilize funds under Skill Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) for providing the ‘Skill Set’ which is sufficient to allow an individual to be gainfully employed or self-employed.

Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD) has been the vanguard of knowledge transfer activities from academia since its inception in 1992. This techno-commercial organization from academia is counted amongst the successful such organizations. FITT provides superior program management services and is steadily increasing its operational landscape. The varied roles of FITT can be seen in enabling innovations and technopreneurship, business partnerships, technology development, consultancy, collaborative R&D, technology commercialization, development programs, corporate memberships etc. These roles are necessitated by the key agenda of the Foundation to showcase the Institute’s “intellectual ware” to industry, and thereby unlock it’s knowledgebase and inculcate industrial relevance in teaching and research at IIT Delhi.
